South32, a leading mining and metals company headquartered in Perth, Western Australia, turned to NEXION Networks for a storage as a service solution for a project requirement. NEXION Networks’ adoption of Pure Storage’s ES2 model, afforded South32 and the partner CT4, the ability to have a full storage array spun up within 24hrs. The ES2 solution allows existing Pure Storage customers to adapt to fluctuating capacity requirements and add to their storage demands without a large capital commitment.
By making storage accessible on a consumption model utilising Pure storage’s industry-leading ES2 model, NEXION Networks provided an avenue for storage to become as flexible, cost-effective and adaptable as other parts of the business. Paul Glass, CEO, NEXION Networks: ”As a nationally expanding fast-growing ICT company, we are excited to partner with an industry-leader in all-flash storage, Pure Storage and have South32 and CT4 as such close partners and customers. We are proud of the ability to offer such a short turn-around and show ability across global locations.”
